Chorman Fly-in and Rally
Jeff Chorman is the most prolific pilot in Delaware - running the bulk of all the agricultural spraying in the area. As an inductee into the Delaware Aviation Hall of Fame, Jeff is widely held to be the premiere Alpha pilot in the area. He's holding a fly-in and everyone is going! He's also running for political office, so the fly-in should be incredibly well attended, since it's a week before the election! We will decide later whether to fly there, or do a disassemble/ reassemble onsite. Team 007 will answer questions, do a static BlackFly display, do demonstration flights and take Polaroid photos of patrons with BlackFly.
BBQ at 33N - Mid-state Curiosity Day
33N is the flight training center for Delaware Tech Institute - the university where they train all the student pilots. We will disassemble/ reassemble the BlackFly at their BBQ event, and then do demonstration flights for the local pilot and student community. Activities include a static display, intensive Q & A, demonstration flights, and we will also take Polaroid photos of patrons with BlackFly. Students and patrons alike will post content to their social media.
Wings and Wheel
Friday is the student education day and Saturday is the airshow. 9,000 people will be onsite at any given time to gather around. Throughout the 2 days, there may be as many as 18,000 people through the flightline. This is the biggest car and airshow in the Delmarva area. There will be over 300 cars scores of vintage and modern aircraft, and live radiocast from 103.5. If you're looking for a fun weekend with modern and vintage aircraft, live music, a huge classic car show, entertainment, and more... look no further than Wings & Wheels!
